Hurts to be Good.

As you can see, my dance studio is going to have a concert for the third time. All the students will perform their own piece, inviting their family members to see them dance.

I don't know if I am consider unlucky, because all the years I had performed, I always end up 'dying'.

Let's not talk about the first year, that was a dance choreograph by the headmasters of Dua Space.

The second and third time was choreography by my own teacher, and she likes us to 'die.' Why? Because we don't know how to smile.

I shall explain. We were never allowed to wear frilly dresses or tutus or having cheerful personalities in our characters. One reason, because our expressions sucks. We don't know how to smile with our heart and my teacher doesn't bother to help us improve. I don't really mind, because it's the truth.

So in the end, in the second year of Dua Space concert, my character was the shadow. The story was human was taken over by their own shadows and they had a battle, and the bad guy dies. I was the bad guy. I died.

In the third year, all of us ended up becoming trees. The theme was about global warming and it was kinda like a message to all people. The name of our performance was Save The Earth. We wore green from head to toe and at the end we were cut down. And we died, again. One of my classmate saw it, and I ended up as a laughing stock.

This year, my luck has finally changed. I took part the role of the fairy. I and another five of our friends were going to go en pointe, ouch. The dance is fast and cheeky, and killing our toes.

Still, there was a fighting scene. The faries were attacked by the bad bugs and there will be a show down. I also had to fight.

Just yesterday, my teacher choreograph the dance and I had bruises all over. We had to roll everywhere and do a little modern contemp.

MY BODY HURTED, EVERYWHERE. Including my poor toes, they didn't had blood.

Like I got punched, in the knee?
The choreography reminded me of both of my previous concert. Because in Shadow we had to flip people around and in Save the Earth we also had to roll around. And in all concerts, I had to fight.
This year, I am glad I won't die and I'll have a happy ending. :P

On the first of February, I went to the cinema with my brother and a close friend of mine to watch How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. It's the third and last film for the almost decade-long series. If you didn't know or aren't my Twitter follower, I am a huge fan of HTTYD. I became so impatient when they wouldn't enter the theatre on time. I kept mentioning that I waited five years for this, and I didn't want to miss any second of it. We did miss a few seconds of the movie because I went to the bathroom. After the movie ended and the credits started to roll, I didn't really know how to feel about the movie. The Handsome Side Of Biology.

LOOKEY GRAY FULLBUSTER IS LOOKING AT ME < 3 --- I once gave that title (look at blog post title) to my tuition teacher who taught us Biology, but he doesn't know that. Mr Jay (not his real name) teaches Biology (duh) at ERA for I don't know how many years and among all the teachers, he's the youngest I think. I can say he's quite good looking and he has a great personality. I first saw him when I went to a seminar for PMR. I was sitting far away so I couldn't really see his face. I just remembered he made us laugh a lot and no doubt, he's good at what he's doing. He works at the hospital too. When I came into Form 4, I attended his class and yeah, I thought he was handsome. Lots of girls liked his looks and even Mr Ding, the owner of ERA said he is handsome. A couple of my friend went crazy over him. I got over it after a few weeks. HE'S A TEACHER COME ONNN. Ballet Grade 6

Having my Grade 6 examination soon. Makes me go nervous AHHHH. Grade 6 isn't children grade anymore, it's a performance grade, where you seriously need facial expression, eye focus and blah blah blah. Just like what my teacher says. Everything need to be done, performance-y. I had two regrets during this grade. ONE. I choose PINK for my leotard instead of BLUE! I have always loved the colour pink. If it's possible, I would choose pink every time. But this time, I preferred blue much more than pink. The reason I wanted blue because I wanted to choose the Free Movement dance, so I thought. Maybe, if I choose blue, it will be more nicer than pink. And it looks more. MORE NICE LOL. When all of us were making final decisions, I heard the pianist said : "If you pick blue and dancing Free Movement, it will be like water flowing around. It will definitely look great. " Oh, that really, really brighten up my day x) But no, my own teacher took away my confidence >___>
